In 1972, Dr. Greg Swenson and Dr. Brian Murn – our founders – had the tenacity, creativity and courage to lead the profession in creating one of the first dental group practices in Minnesota. Their vision helped spark a whole new era in dentistry.

Standardization of Quality Processes
In 1979, our group became the second dental organization in the nation to be accredited by what is now the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), establishing a commitment to maintaining the highest standards in patient care that continues today.

Steady Growth and Specialization
Park Dental expanded from three to 17 locations in the 1980s, and today we have more than 200 doctors practicing at over 90 locations. Our model of comprehensive, integrated multi-specialty care has been in place for more than 25 years.
“As we grew, we decided to add specialists so patients could receive convenient comprehensive care within the group and continuity of care. In 1998, that became the unique multi-location, multi-specialty dental group that we still work with today to provide endodontics, oral maxillofacial surgery, orthodontics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and prosthodontics.”

Over the decades, our organization has steadily grown by building denovo practices and affiliating with existing practices. We have continued to expand our original general and multi-specialty dental brands and added new ones, establishing a family of successful, respected practices.
